ear Window Defogger Kit (2nd Generation Motor/Cover/Grille 3014891)
This kit includes a fully restored rear window defogger motor/fan, cover hole trim, and grille, all meticulously restored to their original NOS (New Old Stock) condition, complete with the QA factory sticker. All components have been carefully sandblasted and repainted in the original gloss black finish. The grille is painted in glossy black but can be customized to any color of your choice to match your rear deck.
The kit for sale features the smaller-sized grille and a 2nd generation defogger motor/fan, which was used across all GM models from 1968 to 1970. The motor has been fully disassembled, cleaned, oiled, and tested for reliability. The motor is date-coded as 3/68.
This kit is a guaranteed fit for 1968 Pontiac (T6/T8) Tempest, LeMans, and GTO models. It is also compatible with Chevrolet, Buick, and Oldsmobile models from the same years. Please verify fitment carefully, as GM used the same part numbers across multiple brands.
